TIHO / MACOS TEST
Tiho for macOS
macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and Intel · internet required
A test version without Developer ID signing or Apple notarization, named Tiho Test. Testing on real Macs is still in progress; use a separate test account.
Download for macOS · DMGHow to install
- Download Tiho.dmg from this page and double-click to open it.
- Drag Tiho Test to the Applications folder in the disk image window.
- Eject the disk image and open Tiho Test from Applications. Do not run the app directly from the image.
- If macOS blocks the first launch because the developer is unidentified, follow the instructions below.
If macOS blocks the app
An unidentified developer warning is expected for this test version. Only allow the file downloaded from this page if you trust its source.
After trying to open the app, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security. In the Security section, click Open Anyway for Tiho Test and confirm. The label varies with macOS version; this option may be unavailable on managed Macs.
If macOS reports malware or a damaged app, stop installing and contact support. Do not disable Gatekeeper or run commands to remove quarantine.
First launch and updates
Create a separate test account. If the app reports a secure Keychain storage error, do not delete its data: quit the app and contact support. Secure key storage is required for Tiho to work.
Automatic updates are not available yet. Quit Tiho Test using Quit or Cmd+Q, then replace it in Applications with the new version. Test signing does not guarantee access to previous keys after an update; a future signed release does not transfer your test account.
